LTA Fines according to Yearly Income
I heard on the radio that some countries can fine u as high as 16m for speeding.
Do you think this shud be done in Singapore as well?
of course the current minimum fines are still in force.

The article in Today papers, it is variable rate for millionaires to deter spoilt brats from endangering others.

i find the practice make a lot of sense.. cos the amount of fines to those millionaires are really peanuts! i guess thats why we have the points system which has some effects on drivers regardless how rich u are..

Many many years back, Nokia boss was fined for speeding in Sweden, until he cannot recognise his way home until this kind of scheme.
