Auto Fold Side Mirror Button Switch - Location???
I find the current location of the button switch to be illogical.
There's 2 rectangular panels, of which 1 is not used.
Why can't the button switch be located on the unused panel?
If it's due to the rear of the panel, surely a button switch or any switch can be secured.
The rectangular panel is easily replaceable, if one want to change to a different switch.

I also thought about this..But when you see the way local workshops do thing you will probably know why.
Try to look under the panel behind the steering wheel. You will see a mess of wirings anyhow tie together. ERP, Alarm, Folding Mirror, parking sensor....all anyhow installed.
Especially the wire for the folding mirror between the front door hings. They don't even made use of the existing weather proof wire trucking but poke a hole on the rubber. Oneday you will see your mirror fail when the wire breaks...

when you install the immobilizer or alarm system, a red LED light will install to the unused rectangular panels.

OK, need to find some time to go down there to rearrange the cables then...

Pull out the fusebox cover, pull away the side trim. You will see screw for the lower panel. Uncrew and pull it out accordingly.
