Is C&C Mod friendly?
My first car from C&C, I am wondering if they are mod friendly; as in, if I mod my car:
1. Lowered the ride
2. ICE
3. Minor cosmetic mod
Will they take drastic and unreasonable approach to warranty claim?
For e.g. I understand that if I lowered my ride, I will not try to claim the suspension from them, but they cannot say my engine or aircon malfunction is because of lowered car !!
To make it clear, I understand the consequences of modding, so, I would like to know the boundary from C&C. What are you guys experience with C&C especially those who mod their car.

All the above had been seen or done before by some others members, so far didn't hear any void from them.
If i mention installing aftermarket alarm also won't void the warranty, would that serve some guideline?

impact2001, thanks for sharing.
At least I feel at ease knowing where C&C stand on those simple mods.

No problem.. Basically i not sure how low u want to lower, how much mod u wanna do.. so situation would depends on you and the advisor?
I remember mine chg to the aftermarket alarm and pushstart, the cnc advisor tell me that kinda of do this aftermark stuff would void warranty lo.. I just tell him if CnC had provide at least a decent alarm, my car won't get break in within just a month without my notice despite being so near to my car.
He didn't say much after also..

Re: Is C&C Mod friendly?
True, it depends on the service advisor. I don't intend to mod anything on the engine as it is a NA engine, not much gain.
I just felt that the Koup is still riding a little high plus the factory head unit sound quality not enough oomph. So, thinking of doing something simple to push up the enjoyment factor.
I heard for example Su**** agent is very strict, even for ICE upgrade one has to go to their "appointed" workshop to do. So, just thought I learn from the veteran here to see how to tread carefully.

Many of these companies will state that they "have the right" to void... but never say WILL void.
So they "reserve" the right to.
So they "reserve" the right to.
