Feel free to list down more potential places and we will narrow down from there

I have added a Poll for convoy or no convoy, hopefull the results will help us narrow down to choosing one or 2 locations !

I am assuming west fogs will have a separate convoy?

3) bukt timah nature reserves. Dun know got eat there. Jus knw it's super near Patsy hse. Can play mj after tat..

Anyway u all can ignore me.. Jus feeling bored while getting my curtain done.. So jus come in disturb abit.. Haha

Option 3 sounds good. Friday nite can play MJ.

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve carpark is closed at night because of the condos and terrace houses around the entrance.

Oh.... Than no choice.. haha..

right now positive reports from those who ops for convoy

i suggest the convoy route not to be too long a distance, and let everyone drive thru seletar dam
drive thru and not end at seletar dam,
reason for me to say drive thru seletar dam is becos on weekends, seletar dam is packed and there wont be any space for us to park after foreseeing that the convoy will only start at about 9pm

9pm should be sufficient for everyone to reach home, take a shower have a dinner and head down to the start of the convoy..

what you guys say ?

9pm sounds fine, I foresee a big supper convoy after the meetup

diz is e correct arrangement... there shld be enough lots for all of us. even if there is not enough lot, ppl can still park outside along e road wic is not a main road.

previously, our 3rd MU were held here but now there's added 103 lots so it shld be more than enough plus at nite there shld be less ppl going there except for hanky panky... lighting wise, u can see for urself. me using my fone to take e pic....

mandai track 7 may not be a good place for nite MU.... lighting at e CP near e golf range may not be bright enough... u can go check it out coz its quite near ur place...

Science Centre Singapore
10.00am to 6.00pm

By 9pm on Fri, the carpark should be empty, except there is a MacDonald there.

If I remember correctly, the car park is very dark, especially the far end from the SC entrance (I think bec SC is already closed)

Anyways dun really understand the convoy thing. If I understand correctly, we planning to meet up then convoy around together?? :-)

If thats the case, and all those going doesnt mind spending a bit on petrol, why not we convoy to all those places listed?? :-)

that is not call convoy.... it's call cruising ......

to travel at a moderately fast, easily controllable speed: cruising along the highway enjoying the scenery.

in a previous car group, Style Wagon Owners Group (SWOG), there are always night cruises organised... at that time we gather at Fort Road, then cruise down to Orchard, pass Mohd Sultan.... then end up at our favorite pub where there were parking space for about 100 cars....

all eyes were on the wagons when we were along MS, because we had our lights, booming our ice, going at 20km/h....

then New Year's Eve we have the NYE Cruise, round island and end up again at our fave pub.....

see the photos of SWOG,.. bring back memories, the best group of enthusiasts..... wagons that is...

But I kinda like the idea of convoying place to place.....

In the early 80s, we have roving, er....convoy of bikers riders on weekends.....much like the US chapter of Harley Davidsons....something like that...impressive...

anyway i had went down to Track 7 last nite....
- its not bright enough for everyone to mingle around and admire the cars,
- carparks were packed with "hanky panky" stuffs....
- the round about at the end is too small to accomodate to so many fortes. all the carparks are dark with no lights at all


headed down to seletar dam, as usual reasonable lightings, head down to seletar west link....travelled all the way along the long strectch of road....
- no carparks or gathering points...
- the only place for us to park the fortes is along the side of the road,
- no chance of TP coming to chase you away as its a new road....
- BUT the parking length of all the fortes will be quite long depending on the number of turn ups. and everyone will have to walk all the way up and all the way down.
- no toilet and makan stuff, juz purely road and railings.

i guess all in all, seletar dam will be a good place to convoy PASS (as weekends will be reasonably packed with pple to head turners at the fortes) unless happen that day there are ample parking lots for everyone, we can set the end point destination there.


who will pass by F1 pit to recce that area ?
