SE Recommendations

Apologies for dragging up an old thread.....like to get Forte too but so far have met with niao SE at Ubi and Alexandra...

If it is not too troublesome, could you also PM me your SE contact...like to get some freebies...like paint protector, alarm, solar file (what package did they give you).

Hmm... Actually how to differentiate between a good SE and a bad one ah?

So a good SE = give more freebie, but later your car no news?

or = Freebie not that many, but service swee swee?

Which one considered good which one bad?

Good SE = Many freebies + Maybe long wait for car but in the end, u still will get ur car with all the promised freebies.

Lousy SE = Less freebies + Maybe long wait for car + Lousy Cust. Service + No frequent updates + Uncontactable etc. But if collection faster, u still lugi on all those freebies which others get FOC. Somemore gotta spend money to get em urself.

I was down at LK on 9th August and it was pure frustration. I called both LK and Ubi after that, and it drove me nuts

Any good SE to recommend also, looking at 1.6SX (M). "Good SE" are hard to come by ......

My SE is Derrick Tan fr Ubi HP:96199104

Booked my 1.6SX (M) in May with him; gave me visor, car mat, rikecool. Actually promised me auto-folding mirrors, but he changed it to BK on the day I collected car (still haven't fix) - promo for BK was over when I booked

I only took a low amt of loan from him - he didn't make much on this

I chose an existing stock, got COE on 1st bid, got the car 2 weeks later

He's a nice chap, you can say Toh (Mr) recommended you to him.

Haha.. Recommendation is one thing, but bottomline u are the one who make the final decision.. So its still lie with your heart.. If you solely based on the best recommendation SE thru here and nv seek others SE to find out more, i think you can't blame anyone..

That goes the same as well for products advertisement.. The advertiser himself also can pose as end-user and give good review..

yup totally agree, if the deal given by the SE is really better than other SEs i dun mind buying from him/her also. It doesn't matter whether he advertise himself or not.

I'm a forte owner as well as advertiser myself its no hidden secret, all those who book via me knows about the service if its lousy i'm sure they will not get from me.

actually i think all decent SE should be about the same, only when they cannot please us / our req.. then they become bad... (certainly agree there are some black sheep to avoid at all cost..)...

Try speak to some and you should realize the quality / sincerity in them?

myself for good example.. was served by HockSeng (hp 91000609) been very please with his no frills, can / cannot approach.. was served by another but wasn't too sure of his attitude.. (but was later know to be good too)

but was soon suck into CC delay after delay for delivery... and was very upset with him... (he did offer color/ model change).. but all his info seems to be more true after tallying here...

i order my 1.6 EX (A) from Hock Seng too, got my COE on 22nd July but till now no news from him. Called him last week to ask when the car will arrive but unable to get any answer from him.

His attitude and service was quite good before we decided to go ahead and book with him. however, been waiting for a reply/commit date from him for quite long...haizzz

anyway, what's the model of ur car? and the colour which u originally booked and which colour did u change to?

Not too sure, but was told by him that this batch got very little (EX) but i have waited for 3.5 months .. due to no stock from KR..
mine SX(A)... i was told its their logistic that CMI so really..
think you can call him up just to verify? no point seeking for lock in date.. as he wont commit (i can understand) but should be able to advise you? maybe some choice of color..(i kind of open up to 4 colors before.. but eventually waited for the new interior as advised by him.. ...)

not too sure.. looking at the collection chart.. think CC clear quite alot of SX? my understanding is that last 2 batches no SX A at all..? so.. too many story liao..

Lol, think mostly due to colors of yr car. BTW, as for SE just go with anyone that you come across. Go with yr heart..... and be happy.

your ride will be ready at pandan. My SE asked me to go there collect. I requested him to drive back to Ubi, and I collect from Ubi, cos I need to 1to1 exchange my current ride with the new one.

Collection @ Ubi means SE drove the car from Pandan to Ubi personally?...or they have some 'logistics or admin' people to do it?

If like this some pple actually mentioned before, @ the ship yard, those fellows used the cars like WRC cars le...

maybe can check e carbon content inside the engine using the dipstick make sure the oil is clear gold color. if not pure gold means they drive before liao lo

I booked at Ubi too, even my SE Issac Theh recommended me to collect at Pandan instead.....when i am there odo read 6km....

oh gosh, stop being paranoid guys. no need to be so kiasi, they not driving ur car for 1 week for God's sake! anyways i dont really give a hoot. what difference does a few km goin to make? i will only go to pandan if my SE pay me taxi cab money. haha..yeah, like thats gonna happen. i'm more than happy to collect at ubi and happy they're incidently helping to run-in my car in the process. so no worries mate!

they can juz ram ur car lor. my frd saw 2 new forte on road tat over take him when he was driving abt 100km/h.

Anxious to get ur ride bro,
But depends on ppl, some really bother about the mileage when collection for some like us we just happy to get our car. But from pandan to ubi is about 20km, i still tink if possible just take a cab down to collect and then u can enjoy ur ride back to the east. Either way u still have to wait so i rather go down and collect rather than wait for the person to drive to ubi.

to be honest i'm not anxious at all cos my BK is still quite long way to go. i'm more anxious to get the BK haha. anyways, i'd rather get it from ubi.

Anyway, any kind souls can share their good SE at Alexandra?

Did my booking in Leng Kee last mth..SE (a lady..sorry cant mention name yet cos havnt got e car) quite pushy and promise sky & mountain then recently say cannot deliver due to mis-comm -_-''' f=== her left right centre then in the end say can.

I think for the increase in 1k...maybe its a gimmick or something cos last mth when i book mine, e SE also say that there will be increase of 1k...not sure whether they repeat this every week though...^^

Mok from Ubi is honest and updates you regularly. PM me if you need his contact. We all want someone whom updates you regularly and he does that. Freebies wise, decent enough.

Just made payment , and Spoke to SE, SE also said it is difficult for them to advise customers because the management really adopt this 1k increase 1k decrease pricing because of the unpredictability of the COE. But for my case the first time i went down to test drive but i never book , then 2 weeks later SE called me again to tell me price is going up $1k and there is BK promo. So went down 2nd time and book. But quite happy that they put in a bid of > $18k for my COE in SEP. only thing is i waited until now for the car because of shipment. SE did say again that EX is a long wait. those considering EX better go for existing stock 1st choice then colour secondary if you want to get fast.
