Just received an apology letter from CCK, Cycle & Carriage Kia Motors, acknowledging that the windscreen crack issue is a manufacturer defect and this kinda manufacturing fault will be rectified regardless of warranty period CCK apologised... 332362

But if **** happens again, still have to waste time, fuel and leave to service center again... The least they can do is come up with a solution instead of temporary quick fix which isn't solving the problem. CCK apologised... Icon_mad

HAha...i recieved mine afew days ago. My suggestion, keep it. Cos on it states that they will change the windscreen if it cracks even after the warranty period.

I also got the condense at both side of my headlight. The customer officer told me that it is common by showing me letter from Korea about the reasons.... I did not bother to read... staff also quote an example about spectacle got condense when leaving air-condition area. All excuse.... my previous 16 yrs old Toyota did not have this issue.

i went for car wash n found out that there is abit of condensation in my headlamp too. is it normal? or same case as wat u all mention?

Can anyone enlighten does it mean after the crack windscreen is being replaced, it will not surface again as they had modify the windscreen design or it will still surface as long as we are driving a Forte ?

Not necessary....

My windscreen cracked on 1st Jan and got replaced on 5th Jan...
My SE told me that my replacement windscreen is the newer batch one, so wouldn't crack again...

unlike some of our brothers here who got their windscreen crack several times...!

But for mine, it's still too early to tell... if it cracks again, I'll definitely stir this issue up again!

good ma windscreen crack, every now and then go change
i got paint on mine, some fuuker dripped paint onto my screen

now i have to go and buy turpentine to remove, but the solar flim is still new, so gotta live with those paint marks for awhile
hopefully it'll crack then i don't have to bother... haha

What about ur solar film bro? Will they compensate u on that as well? I'm using 3M crystaline firm the top grade

I think this is refer to the windscreen got paint cannot totally removed, so replacement of windscreen when crack solve the problem

driving on ecp late at night without vehicle just now...piak piak and a small crack.....call my SE immediately....tomorow got to waste time to go ubi to get replacement...so sad...wonder aft replace will still piak piak again or not CCK apologised... Icon_evil

stone crack shld cover under insurance
only SDW is covered under warranty
