Saw this Push Start button from Taobao.com, it claims to be original part (looks good). Assuming this is true, will the workshop/anyone know how to install this??

This is the stock push-start parts for forte in china. They come with key slot to insert the immobilizer key. You need to figure out does our local forte come with immobilizer connections in the ECU. And you need to disable to steering keyhole and find the trimming part for key slot and push button too. Push Start button from China - Who know how to install? Icon_wink

u may want to open up the servicing manual and read on how to install..... BTW the manual is meant for left hand drive......
