Holux 6210 -Large screen, value for $. Me using it currently.
Holux 62Pro -Exactly similar to Holux 6210 but with Bluetooth.
Garmin 255W-Proven but screen-size abit smaller than Holux 6210.
Garmin 765 -Never try b4, so no comments.
Imho, get the Holux 6210. It's good enuf aredi.

Could you tell me who is selling the Nuvi 765 at that price? Is it with Text-To-Speech capability? And is that a Sing/Mal version or other?
765 is the higher end device where you can save your planned route into the device from the Mapsouce. 255W cannot saved any planned route...you have to take the route it calculated for you.

I'm biased and I never used a Holux before...
I say go for the Nuvi...
Whether 265 or 765...is about $100 difference...
but 765 have Lane Assist and Junction View.
And you can saved your planned route into it... 265 I don't think you can do that.

From my understanding, 255 & 265 also have lane assist & junction view..
for 765, is $499 considered a reasonable price?

Re: GPS Brands and Model at Comex Show
If you are not planning on visiting upknown places in the North frequently, and are basically driving in SG, than just the basic 255 will do....unless you are a blur sotong driver...
But if you are planning to use it up North frequently and you want to plan a route (ie, go to A before B and than C) you are better off with the 765 which allows you to save such planning in the Nuvi.
And considering that other 765 owner has paid higher prices than $499... I would say it's okay... but please note that there are complains that the battery in all the nuvi don't last long out of vehicle. They are basically make for automobile navigation where you can draw power from the lighter socket.
And in SG, Lane Assist and Junction view are just marketing gimmicks.... but are extremely helpful in KL because of the confusing roads there.

I m currently using Shinco 4380BEE - cost me $240 at the last IT shoe. Quite good and search for location is fast. Recently just upgraded the ROM - now system is more stable.
Recommended value for money

I thought so too. My HTC D2 is pretty ok but just hand itchy to lay my hands on the GPS.

Re: GPS Brands and Model at Comex Show
Yes.
You can go to Eastgear website to take a look...
http://www.eastgear.com/store/index.php
Wasn't looking at Holux in particular.....but from the other postings, I think the price is kind of controlled...ie.the Holux6210 is $295.

Re: GPS Brands and Model at Comex Show
No one consider Marbella M550 selling $340 at Comex Show come with bluetooth. Is not just a GPS is also a multiplayer that can buy movie and music. For me I don't want to pay few hundred $$ for a device just for GPS purpose. How often you will use it in local and otherwise may become underutilize. Just my thought!
