Forte Front Head Rest
Dear All,
I took out both head rests at the front seats to insert those straps for hanging stuffs. They can be locked when they are like 2 steps above the seats but will rattle when car hit uneven surfaces.
Now I cannot lock them when they are fully down which is the level where they are no sound. Anyone had the same issue?
Thanks!

Re: Forte Front Head Rest
TS think you got some defects to be rectified, ours is Active headrest... So it can move forward and upward... in rear collision... but think there should not be sound...
mine no sound be it raised to 1st lock (never try 2nd) as i am not that tall.. haaa... actually i thought our head rest is of those adjustable.. but seems not.. leh..
anyone could verify this?

Re: Forte Front Head Rest
For mine, I think 1st lock also cannot lock ah. I tried 2nd level lock cos that is the level that I can lock the head rest.

Issue is that even when I remove the straps, I realised that I cannot lock the head rest at all. Actually you are suppose to press on the catch in order to lift the head rest but now no need. Just pull and the head rest will just go up. But it will lock at the 2nd catch level.

Re: Forte Front Head Rest
found this on the e-manual from canada
Adjusting the height up and down
To raise the headrest, pull it up to the desired position (1). To lower the headrest, push and hold the release button (2) on the headrest support and lower the headrest to the desired position (3).
--- so, to pull up just pull direct
and also found this
Forward and backward adjustment
The headrest may be adjusted forward to 3 different positions by pulling the headrest forward to the desired detent. To adjust the headrest to it’s furthest backwards position, pull it fully forward to the farthest position and release it. Adjust the headrest so that it properly supports the head and neck.
---- I dont know got this function... got to try later... anybody try this??

Re: Forte Front Head Rest
Mine does not adjust forward backward. Better without too cos I tried a car that can adjust only to find the angle uncomfortable cos it force you to look down...

Re: Forte Front Head Rest
The manual did show the head rest could be adjusted forward and backwards. Forgot to try on my ride. Can anyone do this?
