Price reduction in 1.6 SX(A) from 54999 to 52999

Anybody concerned about this. After having booked my car for 54999 in July the price reduces by 2K beginning Aug. Pretty disappointing loss specially when my vehicle is yet to be allocated.

I understand. Almost got it at 54999, but lucky cos I waited after the COE bidding, so i just got it today at 52999. Guess buying car cannot regret bah. Who knows it may increase higher?

u got the coe? at what price?

abby bro... u got ur COE yet? if not, then, they going to bid ur coe higher then those just booked for the upcoming bidding...
and maybe u could talk with ur SE for additional freebies or some other discounts... whatever termed that both of u agreed on... but then again its not going to be easy...

if u gotten ur COEs... well i guess theres nothing much that u can do...

agreed with karabi bro... i booked earlier in april and for the same price of 52999, i get an SX2.0(M)...

sometimes it is about timing also ......guess $52,999 won't last long too.....with further reduction in COE quota in Oct, i think the prices of car in SG will go north....

haiz, i also sianz when i see the price drop. also bought at 55K end june. wow lau, before i can get my ride, price already drop.

i bought ard May time... that time was 50999

i am thinking.. for those paid 1k deposit... can cancel their booking and re-order? still save 1K... maybe can get this to neg with your SE if not change another SE..?


not too sure for cars. for items in computer, usually if price drop bfore... receiving goods for some branded vendor... will get different refund...

Looking at C&C pattern, unlikely to get any refunds.
More likely will get snubbed by them.

I booked at 54,999 and expected COE was 15k+, but COE i got was 13k+. Any chance they will bid for a higher COE next round?

SE did say that even if got COE and is still within 6 bids, they will try to get the higher COE. But i doubt they will go through the trouble of bidding another round.

once they register the COE with yr name (when you received their letter of COE notice from KIA) is too late to change already right?

well it could be that they're receiving lots of new booking during that short period so have to revert to the old pricing....

That is wat I heard too from my SE. Say maybe will raise after national day. Let's see if she got smoke me or not.

Comparing to 06 Aug pricelist,

EX models increase 2k

Since like last long weekend C&C has collected alot order so they have to increase the price back.
I think the next round COE Cat A will increase back to $15K
