CashCard Reading Malfunction

Guys & gals, ytd when I insert my cashcard into IU. Was driving off after working 12hrs.
Shocked to find see ''ERROR'' reading. Discovered tat my cashcard has been deformed slightly near its edge thus making it unreadable. Might be caused by maybe high temperature due to parking long hours under sun. But then IU still working fine when tested with another cashcard. Btw I only insert cashcard when driving & nvr leave it inserted more than even 1 second.
Please take note tat there's a ''heat-resistant'' level printed on the underside of the card. Well....mine is at 4hrs heat-resistant. Damn blur not to realise it then. Spoil my day......

me more sian la... my whole IU spoil.. totally not working.. tomorrow have to wake up early and go to vicom to let them take a look..

same prob happens to me just before the day i wanted to go for 1k svc.
i was told that the IU wiring kind of loose

shld be hapi bro,,, at least u got chance to change to a new IU for foc...

My IU works fine everywhere except in compass point...weird

Not happy lor... cause this morning I go vicom to replace my IU.. yes I got the new IU but still the old generation one... sianz...

But then I learn one thing on how to spoil the IU and make it look like it die due to natural death...

yeah man, how ? i wana to change my Bulky IU to the slimmer one man

Well this one is mention by the technician one so don't know he got tell the truth or not I wont know.. but can try again to find out.. lolz...

But I wont try it so soon.. maybe wait for next year when they run out of the old IU.. then will do it.. and hopefully by then they will replace a new one for me for free...

i went ahead to link IU to my bank account save me trouble.

last week alone i didn't insert cardcard 2 times liao. too early my brain still stoning.. luckily i linked up liao. so even my iu got prob its nto my prob

Would a cashcard cover help to prevent the cashcard from melting?

The cashcard cover best take out, it gives ppl the idea that there's cashcard beneath it.

Hey dude. thanks for the website. I didnt see a red light. I have emailed LTA and they had waived my administration fee. Thank goodness.

got cover does not mean got cashcard which i agree.

but for most thieves when they are desperate, they try everything. A spotted cashcard or one IU with cover mean cashcard inside is an opportunity for them.
let us think why...

got cover means the person got the habit of not taking out, besides, the cover was "supposed" to bring convinence to those who dont want to take out.
If not, why they want to buy the cover in the first place? protect what? cashcard an eyesore when u insert in and drivng? jam brake and cashcard will fly out?
so go cover the likelihood to have cashcard? VERY HIGH.

getting ur windows smashed, since it takes less than 30secn to smash and run with ur cash card which most driver would have $20,$30,$40,$50 dollars? good for a few pack of ciggies
