eeeehh.. if i din understand wrongly, yah.. b4 my SE can ask me if i wan rust proofing and the rest, i oredi asked him.. tongue so he recommended Corrotec for me.. initially i wanted Tuff-Kote.. since Corrotec so far has got good reputation, i dun mind having it done.

My SE also kept asking me to let Corrotec to do all the delivery back and forth but me a bit stubborn.. monkey Or rather i juz wanna find out how they do the rust proofing.. the boss oso explained to me more in detail abt the product.. cheers

In fact, Corrotec originates from US but Korea is the place where the chemical is made. Interesting enuf to learn more abt the rust-proofing and how they do it oso.. oni thing is that over there, the smell is very over-powering.. phew!!! pale

Ah?? got scratch? where ah?? scratch

in total i spent $750 for the 3 products.. Crying or Very sad but the material used for sound dampening is pretty good.. when the boss kept bending the metal coated wif the sound dampening, it helps to protect the metal from breaking.. seemed rubbery to me.. Shocked

Sorry dandeana, din know that you all doing all the three type. The smells is most probably from the sound-damp cos of the rubber ting which give out this smell. Guess you will have to endure with it.

One word of advise, if yours is an OPC car, try save this for your accessories instead cos u seldom run under the sun. But everyday user, it's best that they do the PPS.

i agree wif greatgazoo oso... however, it depends as well.. Sometimes even OPC, u can end up being a heavy user on wkends (like myself).. I always go out of the hse very early in the morning and come back very late at night on sats and sundays.. I'm more of being my mom's taxi driver lor - driving her everywhere she wans 2 go..

I oso drive up to M'sia almost once every 3 mths.. Furthermore, if u stay at my place, u may oso wan to consider at least the PPS.. coz if ur place is really like my place here where there are lotsa birds tt they will start aiming all their droppings like seow.. furthermore, wif all the stray cats sleeping on top of the cars some more.. and within 1 wk, my car will covered wif a layer of dust..

prob CSII, Glare shld be better than Corrotec bah? coz i dun recall seeing the guy doing the Corrotec glare on the car leh.. coz wat i recall was that he used one of the Autoglym products to wax my car leh.. got to go back to the workshop in October for an inspection and got to pay $60 for them to do "grooming".. was wondering why not 1-year (like the rust proofing & the sound dampening) den inspect leh?

well CSII is some kind of teflon coating where it need to go thru some heating process to "blend" in with the paint so this will last longer than outside who just apply the paint sealant.. So this CSII is worth looking at and worth spending. But having said that, Bottomline is the person who help u do.. If they do your car like their own precious, i tell you for sure you had spend the right money. If they macham like to rush thru, you will have nightmares for you car...
