A child-seat(when properly fitted and used without fail whenever the child is in the car) is an important accessory, too!

Sad

I don't mean to be a wet blanket or be the 'goodie-two-shoes' here but we all need to be reminded once in a while... All too often I see kids in the front seat of the car sitting on someone's lap un-restrained, or worse, standing between the two front seats while the car is in motion... at 80-kph on the e'way. I have two wonderful kids, though utterly cheeky and mischievous at times, whom I will protect from harm no matter what.

Don't forget for those of us with the SX trim-level, there's an air-bag on the front passenger seat as well. If you who have had the unfortunate experience of a deploying air-bag or have been on the receiving end of any kind of blow in the face, you know what I mean.

A Family Tragedy indeed...

Hmm your post led me to a question: Do we need to secure our pets also? How can we do so?

Coz I often bring my dog out for a ride but he likes to pop his head out of the window to feel the breeze. But when I sometimes do emergency brake i realized that he will slip out of the seat onto the floor..

But when I put safety belt on my dog it doesn't make any sense coz he can pop out of it anytime and still run around the back seat. It can be very dangerous especially when he's behind all by himself...

Hope to get some advice from safety lovers! Smile

Thanks for your feedback!
Do you scroll the windscreen down for him to pop his head out? What about at expressway? (I tried that twice but seems dangerous coz of the speed)

yap, securing my kids in the car is top top priority. Even a mum carrying her baby in the moving car is still very dangerous!
