Samsung HP : Ultra Touch

Hi People

Would like to find out whether does anybody currently using or know anything about this handphone. The brand is Samsung and model is Ultra Touch S8300. I got upload the photo which i took from the brochure for your easy reference. Coz my current Sony Ericsson got problem, tot of changing to this hp, need your advice. on this.

bought for me cfo diz fone as valentine gift... its a dual key pad.. means can use key pad or touch screen to make fone call or sms. screen quality very good n clear coz its using amoled. quite user friendly too. e sentivity of e touch screen is much better than my omnia 16gb. from my personal point of view, diz fone suitz me most as compare to my omnia wic is using window n quite complicated. til now i still hvnt fully master my omnia fone...

haaa i am using omnia and still getting used to the phone, its not a bad phone i must say, but the camera is definitely not as good as nokia N82

So compare this fone and LG Cookie, which is better?
Coz i nv use Samsing before..not sure whether is it good anot...scared it will be like SE..giving me problems..

It really depends on wat you r used too.... for example, if you ask someone usin Nokia phone to change to LG.... they will vomit blood.... everything is so different.... for me..... I like PDA phones with window functions..... coz very similar to computer.... so don't have much problems.... This phone is running on his own samsung programme..... So.... is juz a matter of time you adapt to it.....

Depending on wat you need for as a phone as well.....Like if you used alot of the phone cam, then by a phone with higher or exteral storage plus good cam.... if you need more function like internet and things like tat then PDA phone..... Touch screen or keypad etc.....

i was a hardcore Nokia user, for a short period of time, had a sony ericson, think i sway batt cant charge, change back to nokia......

got N95...drop into toilet bowl @#$%@#$%
got N82...got dead pixel @@#$%@$^@

one day, backside itchy, pple got touch screen, i also muz have, so got this omnia, still getting used to the phone, useability wise of cos its not as user friendly as a typical press button phone, but then hey....windows OS....wat u expect haaa. more hi tech more troublesome nia lo..

can ask ano57 for advice....he is a hp freak !

i waiting for N97 to come nia ....

Maybe can use the following checklist i come up with

1) Budget $$Moolas
2) brand ( some pp hardcore supported)
3) Design (slide, candybar, flip, now must add new one qwerty or full touchscreen)
4) additional productivity/specs
5) Physcial Dimesion

This is on the phone itself

Next comes the plan
(Which mobile co u with, wat plans u using, are they enough for you or over?)
IF you handitchy or due to work requirement need to change from normal voice subscription to dataplans. DO take note. Currently there are 2 types
1) Plan that bundles with data pahn
2) Data plan that is ADDED onto ur current voiceplan
Check with your subscriber for more details

I am with M1. Just on 30th they came up with new dataplan which i just called up to change 30mins ago.
M1 SunSurf 22 $21.41 1GB data limit + 1mbs Transfer speed
to New Sunsuft Max $16.05 1Gb data Free (Cap @ $36 if over use) +7.2mbs

Conclusion save $76.32pa + higher transfer speed (1-7.2mbs)

FYI , i using N82 for main line + iphone (with M1 line for data surfing)....
N82 going up lorry soon

AWAITING PATIENTLY for N97.. .(M1 CSO reveals akang datang 2-3 week of June=> Price will be very "interesting")

my job doesn't permit me to carry a camera phone...so can only make do with E51....

I've made up my mind and i bot the Ultra Touch fone liao. Just bot it this evening and now it is undergoing an 8-hr charge! I've gotten the blue colour one! Will post some pix soon..

congratz on purchasing of ur ultra touch... so now u got ur fone n ur car to play wif....

my wife just bought Ultra Touch S8300, great phone check out the 8m camera and all the cam function works better than some normal camera. only battery go flat in 1-2 days quite fast

Agree bro, the camera is great! 8.0MP..also got flash! Ya..this morning charged finish..nw left half bar..by tml sure flat.. maybe becoz i talked too much on fone just nw..haha

not just that i like the smile detection and the one that can take 3-6 all joined pic. got shock when i see the power of the camera.Wanted to buy a new camera coming IT show now can saved the $$ for some Poison for my forte. Used the Data cable to charge the phone dam slow.
