My RedBull is here!
went and collect car just now during noon and say goodbye to my current ride
went there and straight away spotted my red koup.
there are alot of koup ard too waiting for owners to collect!
SJV , SJU both also have . Lime green , Blue , a couple of whites.
settle paper work and say goodbye to old ride,
SE that show me my new ride.
damn sweet wooo!
damn the sound of the ignition is really sporty.
less talking more picture!
immediately spend 20 mins going thru all the car function,
was quite sad about the flimsy handle to open boot.
the rest of the car was damn good.
say thank you to SE and drove out...
went to my lobang to install alarm as i "feel" it's wise to install it rather then just depending on the current blinking to show unlock or lock.
cost ard 170 for alarm , very good price.
auto lock once step on brake and normal beeping when unlock and lock.
continue taking photo
went home and take somemore!
and finally..........
already made appointment with lobang to make red dashboard next friday,
awaiting collection of grille and emblem from buddy over here ,
and then to settle my tinting of windows,
then my ride is done!

Red car, red seats, red carpet, red lightings....best combi. My favourite combination of colours Too bad Forte don't have Racing Red colours, nor the red leather seats.

Re: My RedBull is here!
lol he must have left the engine on for quite awhile
the meter reading is not accurate if you idle your car because its L/100km
so if your engine is on it'll continue to climb until it can hit 100L/100km and more

Re: My RedBull is here!
Anyone got recommendation for tinting of window? I really like the long side window cos checking of blind spot is like wow. I plan to tint my front side window according to LTA approval kind and the back 2 small one as black as possible. Is it ok?

normally coupes have bind spot issues. I am quite sure Koup also has its fair share of bind spots though I have not test drove it! LOL

koup got more issues than blindspot... because you are sitting lower and the car is rather muscular you can't see much in front and your rear view mirror isn't really helpful too...
but you'll get used to it eventually la...

Re: My RedBull is here!
i dun seem to have problem with blind spot.. only cant see much of the front and rear even though i put the seat level to the highest liao. still havent get used to the rear sensor as well.. the beep goes very fast liao even though still got some distance..

well I'm not surprise to hear that.. dont forget koup design is base on forte..so we all have the same problem... just get use to the car and all problem solve..
and maybe the next complain you will have is that the turn radius is wide...
Lastly looking at the car pic.. I'm wondering does koup come with cruise control???

Re: My RedBull is here!
I driven before a number of old coupes so the low seating style should not be a problem for me. Just blind spot location need to familarize.

Re: My RedBull is here!
think it's less of the ride height, cos my old car is visibly lower than the koup and I had no problems with visibility.
it's probably due to the bigger front end that makes turning around a kerb difficult.

Re: My RedBull is here!
actually the koup seating position now say very coupe-like..it's quite high i feel. wonder if there is anyway to customise bracket to make it lower.

Re: My RedBull is here!
my seat adjustment max to the lowest liao. oso feel it's still not low enuf. but driving position very 'italian'.

does the forte have very powerful 1st 2 gears as well?
for the turn radius at 1st i needed 2.5 lanes to complete a turn, later i realized that its because i'm turning faster than i normally would
not sure if its the koup's handling but i'm doing corners at 70km/h even...

Stay stock. Respect Engineering.
Else remove the seat and sit on the floor.
