Juz got my COE in the 1st attempt too! I booked mine during the X'mas discount (S$3k off car prices). COE Bidding 23 DEC 2009 Icon_surprised

Actually you guys can check how much CNC bidded for you in the link above. I checked mine and they bidded around the range of the previous COE bidding. (don't know if its right to disclose the figure in public). was quite shocked that we can actually check how much the bidded for us through the onemotoring website, so we can see if they want deliver our cars nt. Smile

Juz checked from the link. Mine is quite a "dangerous" case... they actually bidded below S$18.5k and I'm lucky to hv scrapped thru... COE Bidding 23 DEC 2009 Icon_cyclops

hmm. mine they bidded above and around 18.5. why so? i booked on 13/12. that means they bid differently ?

Mine was bidded above 20K by C&C.
Managed to secure my coe in one bid.
Booked on 12-Dec

Was hoping to get a coe above 20k at first.
anyway ride still have to wait long long.... COE Bidding 23 DEC 2009 Icon_sad

I think Koup potential owners need to wait longer... I was told only avail in end feb...Forte owners if stock available only need to wait 10 working days upon successful COE bidding. Even so... now's the holiday season... Minus Christmas Eve, Christmas, New year.... Expected collection date is end 2nd week of January.

Me too got the $18100 COE. i booked on 13th late evening.... Cheaper price as compared to my fren forte booked in Nov.

You have the same idea as me to get a COE at a high price. Since it is unlikely that COE will drop below rebate price, and the amount is the same no matter how high the COE is, I too was hoping to get my COE above 20k. My 1st COE bidding was way back in the 3rd week of Oct, but was unsuccessful by less than $10. In the 2nd bidding, my SE actually put a very high reserve price of above 21k, but unfortunately COE dropped to less than 17k. And I had been waiting for my car ever since. Anyway, another 1 more week to collect my car COE Bidding 23 DEC 2009 Icon_biggrin

Same thoughts. Thinking Xmas more people may buy car was not really the case. Anyway if it's >19k, I wouldn't have gotten my COE. All is well now. SE told me can collect car soon. COE Bidding 23 DEC 2009 332362

Hmmmm...... sorry to ask, why is it good to have a higher COE?

coz it is free money.....
when u buy the car.(57k). there is a coe component (18k)
if the coe u got is 25k, that is a paper profit of 7k..
after 4 yrs and if u decide to sell the car, u will have an extra 3.5 k moolah in hand....

My SE wrote "definitely not before CNY"

Booked before Christmas and delivery is stated in sales chit as end March/April. Maybe it is playing safe but it IS a long wait.

only 2 free servicing (labour free only, engine oil must pay) ...
