I think most owners love their forte, judging from the sentiments @ the MU last night.

At the end of the day, you pay for what you get. If you paid $60k for a car and expect a performance and comfort level similar to that of a $100k car, i'm sorry you're not going to get it.

i bought a koup because it felt better than what 60k or heck 100k would get me from other brands
performance yes, 60k is 60k
but comfort i think is on par if not better than cars that cost 100k

actually i'm at work n nothing to do so finding people to argue about rubbish... haha
i never visit forums during my free time 1...

but the truth is that the forte is far more comfortable than most cars that cost more than 60k... i was at ubi looking at quite a few models and the car that i felt most comfortable in after trying all the cars < 100k is the forte... probably only the toyota camry can match the level of comfort... but this is my own opinion la, whatever it is kia's newer cars are not meant to compete against cheapo cars, overseas honda, mit, toyota, kia and hyundai all fall under the same price bracket... only in sg do we have jap cars that cost more than korean cars...

back to topic, i'd rather get a new forte than to buy from that guy
considering that with a new forte i can
- bargain for freebies
- 100% sure no problems
- proud to be driving new car
- LOWER LOAN INTEREST

dunno who will buy from that guy, crazy...

Yupz, the people plays a big part. I remember wanting to a car and join the forum for some info and discussion. The "senior" people aren't exactly very forgiving to people on the roads who are in their way. Perhaps half of them are the chao ah bengs which owns the road and expects things to flow their way. Anyway from that experience, i str away condemn that make of car and dun want to be associated with people who drive that car and act like they drive a sports car.

quite a number of disagreements here oso... just that ppl can control not too stoop to low level ---- and dun make it personal...

no doubt we are getting what we are paid for.. but this car IMHO is quite good. But of course compare with other cars within the same price tag la... Don't CERATO FORTE Vs RX 300. aiyo then sure mati la.


I think for a car like ours, and the price we are paying, its quite good already, even though gotta admit that the car is abit noisy, with bouncy rides.. but hey.. its a sub 50K car! [1.6ex M model]

so in conclusion, you wanna get a better car, then you have to pay more lor... You pay peanuts get monkey... but for our case, i think i am paying peanuts.. but getting a monkey... BUT!! a highly trained and more skilled monkey in the whole lot. hehe..
