i realised that too slooow oso not good for FC...

you can try this for yourself... set the meter to display "instance" fuel consumption... (same button that display TripA/B...)

When traveling around 40 km/h, notice FC for tt instance is usually above 10... When traveling above 70 km/h, maintaining the speed, the FC meter goes below 10... Usually between 4-5...

Note tt the FC meter reading is for Petrol Consumed (in litre) per 100 km... So, the lower the value the better!

yeah the best FC to be clocked will be long distance driving with resonable crusiing speed and less traffic.
I don say that its the exact situation to verfiy the FC but that seems to be nearest to the ideal case situation

Thats a no no .... .cos when clutch is not engage, its not healthy to let it free rev.

When there is no load, its running freewheel. Not that advisable to do so. Sometime u go to workshop u see the fella lifting a circular looking thingy with wire to rev ya engine.... they will want to promote some chemical that can help to clear ur carbon deposit

For short burst he can clear carbon deposit in ur front section.
but it is best that you drive across the causeway ... get a short drive up maybe Kulai or even to melaka. The whole body warms up and any crap deposits will be cleared ..... from engine to header to exhaust... Smoooth....
After you try already u will understand what I am saying...

I went on short trip on my matrix previously...
B4 tat the tank was crawling and FC sucks big time... .cos all the way travel short distances only. After cleaing once to melaka and back. The car feels so SMOOTH..... FC imrproved...

So for those pp who always laments about sluggish and no power.
1st thing check air filter, engine oil and oil filter. Next is go CLEAR SOME CARBON!
