Re: The problem with white cars
yah, white car super hard to maintain.. previous ride is black.. i find white more jia lat.. anyway i parked 3 mths under open carpark but dun have such stains in the pic leh.. i clean thoroughly every week.. n whenever free will check n remove any stains etc.. after 3 months cannot tahan, changed to mscp.. which is very good.. only some dust tats all.. car very clean for those going to get white.. think again if u going to park under open carpark..

Re: The problem with white cars
One thing to take note, though it is good to wipe dry your car after going into the rain. Becareful the lower parts especially if there are possible tiny stones. Use some plain water to spash the lower part before you wipe dry.

well, there is a saying ,"white car is a choice for people who see themselves got alot of free time." unless you got alot of free time, well , it is a matter of time this white will turn yellowish in time to come. Thus, think well before commit white again.

2nd that also though i got a white myself. Previous car was metallic blue with the sparkle like metal bronze. Much easier to maintain definitely.

Tits or Metal bronze or Red. In that order. Tits and MB easier to clean.

I also just cleared some brown scratch marks at my rear bumper with wax yest. Seeing 超级白 is really good.
One thing i have to ask is i feel my car somehow looks alittle bit of creamer than pure white white like the avante's white. Anyone also think so?

Woot, i more hardworking. Wash weekly as per my previous ride. After washing will touch xiao bai and feel the car like alittle rough not smooth then end up -.- waxing.... collect car 3 weeks plus, wax 3 times But good workout for me. No exercise end up using wash and wax as weekly exercise.

For wax I using soft99, it is not a strong wax. Rub on stains won't come out unless I use my nails. Autoglym looks good, joepele using it.

My dad gave me one liquid wax with teflon very good i feel. But pretty ex according to him. I go find the brand. I should be buying that next after turtle finishes in a year or so.

Re: The problem with white cars
Actually do your PPS first. When ur BK come ask them to touch up for you. Let them know that you have a BK but still waiting then they shld touch up free for BK for you.

Autoglym is a good all rounder....
1. Remove and clean off Bird poo
2. The black stain as mentioned in this thread
3. believe it or not... for cleaning windows with oil marks / stains.
4. light paint scratches, not deep scratches

To wipe the water after rain. Nothing can beat this:
Meguiar's Water Magnet - Microfiber Drying Towel.
Got at Asia AutoSalon 2009 at 20 bucks, usual price should be around 26 bucks.

I have a better recommendation...
cheap and good...
Diaper cloth...
Soft, cheap...
If it's good enough for a baby's butt... it's good enough for your car.
Last I know.... this retails for about $1 - $1.50 each.

Re: The problem with white cars
Today while washing, i realised our Bumper and body colour may differ slightly. Might be due to wear and tear and though exposed to same conditions, the material difference might cause the slight difference in colour. Anyone see a diff between the 2 parts' colour?
