Re: Sweet Orange
My forte came with with chrome metal tire caps but I replaced them with plastic caps the moment I reached my carpark. The kids in my area have the habit of stealing the chrome caps to put on their bicycle. Hope to catch them at it one of these days and haul them to the NPP.

agreed with Bro Fortec.......saw one s. orange parked next to mine at the carpark and I must say its even more "swee" when you see the real thing.....could also be your HP cause I think its missing the "shine".....

Re: Sweet Orange
Last weekend I used Meguiars Cleaner wax and Sealant #21 on my delicious sweet orange Forte and here are a couple of pics showing the painwork.
dipstick- Junior Member
Re: Sweet Orange
The Sealant #21 deepens the colour and gives it a wet and richer look. It is also super smooth to the touch. Rain drops just slide off the paintwork. I have been using this for my previous car as well.
The rims have just been cleaned with Armorall APC and given a coat of sealant as well.

Re: Sweet Orange
haha... no lah. manual folding mirror. takes about 10 seconds to fold after turning off the engine.
fonefun610- Junior Member
Re: Sweet Orange
Nice unique color ! can spot from a distance ! , but too much manual folding will it actually wear out the hinge and step catches?

I think few years down the road, you will it not so flexible bah and due to the wear and tear, it will bound to go loose.

Ya, think the hinge will wear and tear over the years. By the time it is worn, maybe can change to auto folding mirrors?

Re: Sweet Orange
heart break...
last night, i inspected my car as usual every night and to remove any debris that landed over the day. to my horror, i saw that the car was covered in bird sh!t, dozens and dozens of bird sh!t. i have been in that parking lot for the past 2 weeks and no problem at all, suddenly this sh!t happens...
i got into the car to move it to another parking lot. the bird sh!t situation was so bad that my entire rear window is marred and i can't even look out of my rear mirror...
i got some wet tissues to clean off the dirt but most of it had already dried. i went home to get a pail of water and cleaning cloth to start washing. i cleaned off the sh!t as best as i can and after about an hours work, it is done, but then i stinked, its ok.
this morning i went drop again in daylight to remove any remaining dirt that i wasn't able to see last night. to my horror, i think i scrub too hard last night, and there are now numerous scratches all over the roof and the boot. i guess this is my first car and i have no good washing skills.
is there any way to savage the situation, bros?

1: Rinse well excess shit but do not scrub !!
2: Stubborn Shit...use a WET tissue paper n leave over shit for a minute n shld come off easily.
3: Always have 3 - 4 pc of MF cloth. 1st One for Roof n Bonnet, 2nd for Windscreen n 3rd for side-Top Half n 4th for bottom half. Reason....lots of fine sand at bottom half. lots of twists attached to cloth from Windscreen washes....these causes fine lines just as fine sand paper do..Hope this help.
4: Now just wax n regular wash daily n use 4 pcs MF cloth to do the wash till scratches is gone, Wet Tissue for BS cover for a min..Okie
