Decal Polling (9 designs contributed by members)

just a quick update.. I send in the 1st design and design 3 to the decal vendor to do a sample 1st.. The chap not bad and quite nice... I actually could spend an hour there just to listen his views on our design, feasible or not etc.. Hope three days later the decal will be ready.

cant wait for three dayz later to see e actual look of e car decal.. kan cheong liao

Out of my own pocket money leh.. haha.. It will be expensive than what i post earlier as I only do 1 print of each design 1 and design 3. Design 1 will be slight different on the numbering portion there. Anyway is just a sample.. So i just do it 1st and see how it looks.

Dun drool over it.. The designs might need to refine over it. As for the 1st design, due to i give him in the form of JPG (not my design so i don't have the AI), he tell me the color quality will be inferior abit. (I still pending bro scared send me his original)... just keep a lookout!!!

Hmm... From the look and feel of the material, itz must be those rubber type of material to paste from inside.

yup,, me oso like e black one... but it be better to use e blank space to put e forum member's number instead of ur car plate as ur car plate is clearly shown on ur car itself n e decal is not a carpark coupon or pass to enter a place.. its juz a decal of our ceratoforte forum/group...

So everyone like black one right? Then i need to pend Scaredcloud original file.. The vendor mention that using JPG will somehow have some color distortion/loss thus making the design not striking.. if give him the file as AI format.. It would be very swee.. On the other hand, i believe my digital camera also play a part in making the decal look swee.. physical look really differs a lot..

The white box initially was the 3 digit number but the vendor mention if i did a direct numbering on the decal, it would be very expensive. So he suggest the most enconimcal way is add on numbering.

i can cut all your number plates out in stickers and u all can juz paste onto the decal, problem solved ?

nah i cant do printing for stickers, i can only die cut them.
impact bro will still have to get the stickers printed on decals.
then i can cut the numbers and paste on the decals, then u guys can paste the decal from inside the window juz like those season parking decal holder or something

in my opinion, its like ranking each person, like ok I am the 30th member of the forum....he is the 55th member or maybe even 149th member.....i mean......its the ranking there....that maybe willl make one feel less important....which shouldnt be the case as everyone is equal in this forum isnt it ?

Yes, I strongly like Siaoster idea to use his style to cut the numbering out from his sticker and we paste it on the decal. This way the numbers will look neater.

Stencil in one way cant last and must use very good markers if not will be very ugly.

me noe wat u mean... coz there r other memberz raise concern bout e number as ranking in e forum. how bout if i suggest we put our nick in e blank space. not too sure bout other car forum wic use numbering but we can be e first to use our nick instead of number to identify e forte ownerz... juz my suggestion

Haha.. thanks for the trouble.. but anyway the numbering (sticker type) will be inclusive.. I just show a sample of the overall decal.. Once everything confirmed and mass produce, the decal vendor will mass print out decal plus number.. The numbering will be just added onto it.. But if putting nick, i believe that will be "mafan".. may need to trouble siaoster...
