Interior of kapitan's Forte....

Just got the door panels fitted..... here are pictures.....









The poison have began....... there are more ideas.... will be going back to the shop to discus...

Looks goood!! I would love to do up the side panels too.. now mine very prone to scratches. You mentioned that you got more leather from your SE ah? Can check with you how much the damage is bro?

No, I did not get the leather from SE, I went to another installer, there they have similar colour and I confirm...... but the panel colour are slighter more tan...very slight, the seats need a coat of conditioner to be same colour.....

Well, if you do, then I have to do more so that it willnot look the same.... ...damages.... 4 door panels and the centre armrest, above 250, below 300.....

No, I did not as I was not interested in black film.... I have line up one or two installers for solar film now...they will be blusih tint,...just like Merc....

Bro Kapitan, can i ask if the panels feel hard like wood or they added sponge underneath the leather?

1) seats change beige,
2) now even the arm rest, side of the door panels, all beige..
3) Your forte is a pastel color

its just my guess. haha

Well.... there are ways to colour co-ordinate isn't it..... but it is very important to stay focus on a theme, otherwise the car become "chap par lang"..... you could do it same colour with your car, unless it black.... or maybe get a coloured floormat and have the panels made to the same colour.... or remove the centre silver piece on the sound system, sprayed to a colour and have the door panels the same colour....

Whatever one do, have a theme in mind, then stick to it, do not overdo, too much lights become christmas tree or worst become cheena like and can participate as a chingay float......

Its not that I do not like black, I have another black car (remember?). That black car has two tone colour seats with checkered patterns.....

I feel that the all black cabin of the Forte is a bit of a bore.... visually, it make it feel and look small.... with light colour seats, it will brighten up the cabin.... then the doors willl not match my seats as it is all black, save for the silver panel on the door arm rest..... so I added colour matching panel to break up the black.... I hope that will up the elegant factor.....

Oh btw, my Forte is light graphite..

eeee.. when i bought my car, my SE said tt all 1.6SX(A) got no leather seats leh.. me got to convert the seats to the leather type wor..

I used a lot of patience and some brain juice.....

Trim can be bought at Autobacs... you have those inserts type or just strips, which must be used with double sided tape ... a little super glue will hold it in place... once used super glue means committment, no turning back...

Dash mat.... yes, there is an opening in the middle for the light sensor....

It cannot be a bright or light colour as it will affect the vision with reflection on the windscreen. Well, black matches with anything....
