Forte look cheap?

Saw a comment on Koup and Forte in another forum which caught my attention.
What do u guys think of such comments?

Well, theres always cars that are a range higher unless you like buy a bugatti?? Hahahaha!! :-)

So unless you own a bugatti, dun come saying forte is cheap. Cos ppl who drive like BMWs and Benz and all will say cars like honda, toyota are cheap!! And those who own Ferraris or the raging bull, etc will say BMWs, Benz cheap!! :-)

Anyways, why bother what ppl say?? As long as you know you are getting your money's worth, then so be it. You happy can already. :-)

There are many ppl in this world who cant own cars or have never sat in cars before. Be glad you have the opportunity to own one, which in my opinion, looks one of the best in its class/category for the amount you pay. :-)

For the fact that he made this statement, it means that Forte actually warrants enough attention from him to spend his effort making comparisons.

and all i can say that for the forte design comparing to other models, this price is sure worth it !!

It is a relatively cheap car, so even if it really really looks cheap, its OK.

It would be worse if an expensive car look cheap !

Of course if you compared Forte to Porsche Caynne and Lexus IS250 (the above photo), ours look cheap. But if you do that for Vios/Corolla/Civic/Cruze, ours look expensive! Get the picture?

To me..Forte is really good enuff liao..no need to bother what others say..just happy with ur ride..as long as it's reliable..gd looking..value for $..enuff le..i can proudly say we r even better than Mitsubishi Lancer, Chevy Optra & Avante!

a note of advice, the more we exaggerate or 大作文章, the more people from the top classes will laugh at us. This is because you and me know that Kia Forte is no BMW or Audi, and does not look close to either one. To say Forte is better than those expensive european marques is too overstretched and a bit of an arrogance (like the Tuscani owner who pastes GTR emblem on the back). People nowadays have certain amount of knowledge about cars thanks to the recent car craze when COE falls; they are now able distinguish the obvious. So let's be humble as always.

hi i think forte looks classy in many ways compare to other cars

If he is saying forte looks cheap when he sees it on road, then I don't agree...... Forte exterior is one of the betta exterior u can have for a car, but if he compares the inside (this applys to the olders version of forte) some sort I agree because of the plasticy interior...... but with the upgraded version...... difinately a NO No to wat he say

Singapore too good life... If "this person" is thrown in india Far Far away deserted no man's land with no transport. Even the "cheapest" square wheel bicycle is most valuable to get him/her out of that place.

i dun agree that foret look cheap. its cheap but for e price its definitely better than many models. most of my friends are enviously of my forte

Cheap it may be but we get to save another $40K to $50K for our raining days compare to the not so cheap cars like BMW and we are happy with it.

Actually i'll just ignore them. There's a budget for everything. We cannot compare apples to oranges. Why not compare a merc to be crappy when i see a maserati or audi. For that instance a Honda also look CMI when i look at an audi.

For the price, i think forte is very good buy. Every car has its appeal and its uses. Like most of us here says, it those comments just show how shallow or ignorant they are in general.
