EX vs. SX

i thikn EX dun have leather seat

EX Air con no fully auto climate control, 6cd changer

i assume that u guys are comparing for 1.6l version...

even then, what ever the case is, like what they say, buy what you can afford. If you want the luxuries of gadgets, SX is a good choice since it's a 1 stop shop. all built in. If you enjoy modding to ur liking, get EX, use the difference in price to do what you want to the car. EX and SX are BOTH fantastic cars, SX got rear disc brakes, but if you intend to change all to brembo how? then getting an SX defeats the purpose right? lol..

ultimately its up to you, leather seats can zeng urself lah. no biggie, bluetooth now comes with a wide angled mirror from sim lim.

actually my EX has 4 disc brake and motor assist steering as well...

if i remember correctly, the difference between EX and SX at the time when i bought my car, is $3k...

When i bought during national day promotion the price different between EX and SX is $6000 lo!!! if its 5k i may consider.. but 6k is too much.. definately EX liao no need to think.. many extra features in SX are cosmetic to the car.. although its nice to have if got $$ else, having EX is already alot more features than many other EX models out in the market already.. $6k is easily as much as 1 more year of installment to pay lo..

SX dun come with dual exhaust, it come with a chrome exhaust tip.

Ya EX exhaust tip is like d**k. Small small sticking out. But thats not main the concern cos you can change the tip to whatever you want outside. Less than 100 bucks easily @ Fong Kim.

Sia la mine also EX what. The stock one really look like d**k sia I swear. I initially went fong kim wanted to change the tip one. But after that I think think, better wait for our performance exhaust to approve 1st then change the whole thing. Eventually for me exhaust must change one.

Maz 3 1.6 (A)
Full Tank : 55 L
Max distance : 600

current:
Forte EX 1.6 (M)
Full Tank : 53 L
Max distance : 670 (expecting slightly more mileage after 10K serv with syn oil)

no red stitching leather wrap arm rest for the new EX (only for SX) but it is now made of softer and padded plastic (this include the panel next to arm rest)....saw it at the last MU...

On 3 Sep I ordered EX manual, asked SC (Sales Consultant) whether armrest is leather type, SC went to consult one Lao Chiao. The Lao Chiao told her "yes, next batch leather arm rest,..." don't know what also chrome one not all black...Ask SC what she would give me, she said Rike Cool 28 Premium/Premier, reverse alarm (i think this one already have, car alarm (press car open got sound type). I not very niao type, said ok...I ask her how much if I throw in leather & anti-rust (Tuff Kote) she said $700 and $385 respectively. I said full leather black one leh, not those half-leather low class leather, she said from high quality, full leather. I said done deal....Got my coe 6 days later, lucky man, if not must pay $3000 more. $3000 can buy 2 shares of NOL share leow. I am considering add on tough seal. Patrick quoe me $400 (plus give me 1 full sets of tough seal product). Then the car will look shiny shiny for a few years if 2 week or 1 month go down to AMK for toughtouch up ($10). If car got little scratches, my friend said got lobang mend minor scratches, $20 first scratch, subsequent $10...

SEs' words can only be taken with a pinch of salt.

They know the specs of the future batches of the EX cars but dunno when the next shipment is....

at my time the difference is 6k.. i top up $700 for leather seat that time so probably need to top up $5300.. my se help me reserve white sx auto till tomorrow so i must decide by tomorrow lo..

SE told me the next EX shipment only coming in Oct.

ya my se also say in oct but dunno is early oct or middle oct or late oct..

that time rumour 11sept also like that.. in the end is few ex.. some in here say their se told them because few people book ex thats why all come sx.. how can like that

Do you have a car to drive now? I traded in my Picanto at lousy price. I a bit regret because If I touch up a bit, can sat least sell 1-1.5 k higher if I do it myself. So if the car come in late, its ok for me. Register the car later coe also expire later...that is for my case only. I hope that the OPC car can last for 10 years as I only use weekend and some weekdays evening. Change car sebei bo wah (not worth)...unless the car really bad always spoil in future, I would want to stick to it as long as I could....10 years possible!!?
