OPC owners please take note

For you info,

When it is nearing to your insurance and road tax renewal please do ensure you had your car plate inspected as per the instruction in your road tax.
There will not be a special letter to inform you to go for inspection, but you cannot renewal your road tax unless you have done the car plate inspection.

For the normal plate drivers, the inspection is needed usually at the 3rd year onwards and you will have the instruction in your road tax to do inspection.

Hope this info helps. Encountered some bros who did not know about the OPC requirement for road tax renewal.

it is actually a note on the road tax renewal as one of the requirement. If you look at the lower part of the road tax letter sent to you. You will see the note there.

Thanks bro, been scrutinizing the road tax letter but they always put a (if applicable) which leaves you guessing... so need to check or not, scratch head until tried to renew and Onemotoring tells you inspection records missing...

inspection of red plate license plate is S$ 10 at vicom

Was thinking if Vicom or STA is crowded or not on Saturday... Want to go but not sure how much time needed for queueing and how much time for inspection...

actually i also don''t understand that part.

my opc car, i always bring down for inspection.

but then other car, i renew online, they don't even need to see certificate of insurance etc.

I tried already, renew through online or AXS need to wait for inspection result to be updated with LTA. I went STA and service personnel said can renew on the spot, if go elsewhere wait 1 day. Inspection damn fast, in and out in 10 min and no queue early Sat morning.
