Rattling sound near dashboard/ centre console

Hi Guys,

Anyone experienced this? The sound is more prominent when I am driving but not accelerating. The sound disappears when I'm idling... This only happens after my 5k servicing.

Any bro can help? It's not the glove compartment.

Hi, i had this problem. Was resolved during my 10k servicing. Its your dashboard that holds the CD drive. You just need to ask cnC to tighten the sliver panel cover.

is the sound more prominent when u go over uneven ground ???

i also having the same problem...being going back to cnc a few times liao...they did some sound proofing to the centre console...but a few days later the noise came back. im going to try and get the centre panel cover tighten...see whether it works...

it could be also from the gear knob if its manual.. the spring inside the knob also causing the rattling sound.. juz like mine..on certain rpm.. the engine get certain vibration.. causing the spring to.. like vibrate.. causing sound.. more on that im not so sure... just giving similar problem.. hope dat might help Rattling sound near dashboard/ centre console Icon_biggrin
