actually nt mi buying but very tempting haha but my current car will lose alot of $ if i change to forte, its my colleague who wanted to buy so go view together, i'm nt sure solar film include in the package, nid verify with the SE again. as for loan amount i nt sure my colleague will go full amount loan or else...

A noob question here on the free BK. BK is fixed over the normal bumper like an extension or is it another bumper with lower skirting. If *touch wood* the low skirting breaks can we remove only the BK and left with the original bumper? or we have to change another new bumper with/without BK? Hope bros out there can enlighten me. the ex manual is have to top-up for the leather-seats, sensor and alarm lo. i remembered those (like the leather-seat, and engine hood insulator) are confirmed only included in the SX. anyway, the SX have OMV higher than EX about (2K+). So additional items in the SX is fully justified.

And KIa business good lo. They sold the forte it is hotcakes. Earn commision like no tomorrow already. So no pressure for them. Naturally, the SE need not bother too much if you threaten to go other showroom.

Anyway, when i went to Hyundai SE to see the avente, the SE there dam good lo. I queried about the "s" version/without sunroof. LoL. the price was $53999 then. Freebies??? ANything i can ask for. Reverse sensors, leather seats, visors, floor mats, gear knob and steering leather, a hand-held GPS unit, system-6. of course soundclad is come as standard.

But i left and bought a forte SX.

And finally, at the end of the day, i think after buying car, cannot look at the price movements, or why no freebies given. All these will tend to change anytime.

Like for example, 4 days after signing the sale agreement, the price drop 1k!!! what do i expect kia to do? give me discount? of course they won't. End of the day, buying car is akin is like gambling sometimes. never know how the price movement will affect the car price.

and when 2 weeks after i collecting my forte, KIA say now give body-kit free for new car

It's all a fair game actually. Nobody coerced you to buy the car right? You decided to buy it when you feel that the price you paid for/are going to pay is within your acceptable means.

So don't keep harping on new promotions or lower prices etc. Just relax and enjoy your new ride!

Ha ha, good choice. While it is a bummer not to be able to get more freebies, but ultimately you should buy whichever car you like more or had more affinity with.

the SX is honestly to me the best deal for 1.6cc cars right now in the market. and now with free bodykit, and the discount, it makes it even better. other freebies like solar film can do outside at cheaper price. anyway, some of the people in this forum swear that rikecool is bad. lolz. personally, i find it good enough for me. within a week, i went back cause got some defect, and they re-paste both windows, and did a better job.

i was actually quite interested in hyndai i30. but the price not right for me.

managed to squeeze out the following:

a) rikecool
b) bluetooth car set
c) 3A carmat.

did not want the bodykit, so, got a 500 bucks off the listed price.

in my opinion, the deal is worth it, because of the fact that the COE is 20k, and the OMV is averaging at around 14 to 15k. technically, their profit margin is very very low. and as my SE pointed out, it was just volume for profit.

Be warned, FC of Forte is only good if you are doing a lot of highway driving. I can't really tell much yet as I only on my second tank of petrol. But so far my 90% city driving is about 12.5L per 100Km or higher. But I do note that when you are driving on highway at about 90 to 100km/h, the FC is about 8L per 100km or less. So if you have more highway driving, the saving in FC should be significant.

thanks bro Forte 002. FC is not the only consideration when i made the jump, i like the pick-up of the car, though i read around and i realised that some feels that it is a tad too slow. but, overall, i would feel that the driving experience is better than my subaru.

hopefully, your FC would pick up after running in, as it was the case for my friend.

Bro Loansharkie, i am currently also driving a 1.5 5D auto Subaru Impreza. I must really say if the pickup is as good as Forte i will still hold on to it. But too bad the pickup sucks big time and also the FC so wanted to try the forte. What is your Subaru FC like? mine is 11-12 L/100KM. But the AWD is really fun especially sharp left turn. I usually turn left at crazy man speed at 20-30 km/h. I think i will miss this kind of turning when my forte arrived.

the Bodykit advertise is worth 1.5k and was given free last SAT,

i gave it up for only 3 item , leather seats, Alarm and reverse sendor

where as on the other hand , Boom Boom paid 1.3k and get all the above plus Rike Cook Solar film

wished i had bargain harder and get the Rike Cool Solar film free as well, but i had signed the document and if i want to add now, need to top up 500 ...
