No, no matter how you adjust the camera lens, it doesn't work that way, you have to add on more poison
just like the Forte car to get it go faster.

Hi Elixir99, late afternoon shot, nice colours overall and well exposed pic.
If for me I will pan my camera to the left side and catch a reflective scene of the buildings,
a bit out of the ordinary and not the normal angle shot.

I choose this picture as the best of the lot, being a beach shot with a very wide horizon, you should maintain the horizon straight and at 1/3 or 2/3 height. Never put the horizon in the centre of the picture, its like the pic is being cut into half.
I think you caught this beautiful splashing waves pic with great patience.thumbsup

I have this Labrador Park sunset to illustrate my point.

andikong - thanks for the tips!! yah was waiting for the splash thats explain why i tilt the camera hahaha..

I think I have seen this rock in the Labrador Park, and it would be the 郑和 Rock, the landing place during his sailing trip to the far east which including Semarang in Indonesia.

Why Join NAFA?
Do you have a burning passion for art, design, music or fashion? Can you see yourself as the next Philippe Starck, Yo-Yo Ma or Stella McCartney? Are you looking for inspiring, dedicated teachers who will help you jump start your career?
NAFA is the place for you! NAFA will fire your enthusiasm, fuel your knowledge and turbo charge your artistic career.
so scary....

i didn't join any course, if you asked me. i started out with a lousy webcam called Chronos and then upgraded to sony cybershot p8 before turning to D40. i spent 7 years of shooting-and-deleting photos, also to visit experts' photoblogs for info.

but taking up a course would be a lot more faster, though expert level may be expensive.

All the lenses have minimum focus distance.
If you want to take close up, you need to get a Macro lens or close up filter.
