congrats sober... spending 1k on ur #... hmmmm...
ur se got subsidise alittle tiny little bit for e #bidding?!? haha..

Haha, I actually put a few more dollars in, just in case someone is bidding the same number.. though it quite unlikely!

Anyhow, I seriously don't want any random number assigned to me by LTA, and of course a little superstitious, very concern with numbers that has '4' in it.. esp on the road.... and so I had thought about it quite hard before I went ahead to part my money... don't need a number that bring in prosperity (Think '8888'!), just a number that is significant to myself and my wife, and we feel good about it, esp the number graces the front and back of your car! Smile

Of course, C&C wouldn't help pay for your number bidding! However they are good enough to save me a trip down to LTA by submitting the bidding envelope for me Smile

need some advise,

i intend to get the koup but i stil hav outstanding load to settle, amount is about 10k.

so wil u overtrade this 10k into ur new ride if it can b done?
or wil u look for personal load w low interest for the 10k?
or pay the 10k cash?

i wish i had went to vivo n confirm during the soft launch, would hav save a few Ks

Similar to you, I also regretted for a while that I did not order the koup at Vivo. I was SOOOOO PISSED with the service at the road show from the SE there.

Anyway, that is past and I have ordered one.

I also have an outstanding loan. I am paying cash. I made a mistake for the first car under high loan and long duration. I will not do it a second time.

dun over trade as it will affect the new car unless u thinking of driving it for full 10 years
if possible then pay off via cash, if not then take personal loan but of coz u have to weight the total installment which you have to pay every month then

just my 2 cents Razz

Overtrade an outstanding loan into a new loan is a financial mistake. If oredi cannot pay down $10k, how does it get better by adding an additional $10k + interest to a new loan?

Pay off outstanding loan and dun let your debt snowball.

Exactly. Overtrading is bad bad mistake. If you cant pay for the balance for the previous car, it is better you stick with it.

ya, tats wat im doin nw, gotta stick w my current ride for another 3yrs at least to b able to change car w ease of mind.... i hav done my calculations as well after i posted the qns, assume the 10k are the interest from my current ride, to overtrade means im having intereest on top of old interest and after reading up more fanicial guidebooks, its a 200% no-no to snowball such debts

nw can oni see all nice koup roll out of port n onto the rd..... COE BIDDING 2nd-4th NOV - Page 3 Icon_lol COE BIDDING 2nd-4th NOV - Page 3 Icon_lol

I usually change car every 2 years. Cannot tahan - damn itchy backside. But I still like my current car so decided to buy the Koup as a 2nd car instead to temporarily satisfy that itch.

Can't realli generalise lidat - it depends on the d/p. If one puts in 50% d/p, can breakeven in 1 sec oso. COE BIDDING 2nd-4th NOV - Page 3 Icon_cheers
